Sidney Devon McLean, 32, of McKeesport, and Devell Dexter Christian, 32, of White Oak, were arraigned Friday on various charges including homicide.
If convicted, McLean and Christian could face capital punishment being sought by Washington County Prosecutor Jason Walsh, the Observer Reporter says.
McLean and Christian were wearing face masks and black clothing when they walked into Anna Lee’s Convenience Store in Donora (Washington County) and shot 28-year-old Nicholas Tarpley while he was working on Feb. 24, authorities allege.
A motive for the shooting was not determined but Walsh believes Christian and McLean may have been targeting another person, the Observer Reporter said.
